Mighty Mayhem – FIRST LEGO League

Introductory and intermediate robotics for ages 6–14 using LEGO robots and themed challenges.

Mighty Mayhem operates multiple FIRST LEGO League Explore and Challenge teams. Students work in small groups to build LEGO models, program missions, and present their ideas to judges at local events – all while practicing teamwork and core values.

We’re happy to answer questions about age groups, schedules, costs, and availability.

FIRST LEGO League Challenge (Ages 9–14)

Challenge teams build and program autonomous LEGO robots to complete missions on a themed field and research a real-world problem related to the annual FIRST theme.

The main season runs from August through November with a qualifier event in late fall. Additional spring and summer sessions may be offered as interest and mentor availability allow.

FIRST LEGO League Explore (Ages 6–10)

Explore teams introduce younger students to basic engineering and programming in a playful, low-stress environment. Students build a LEGO model, add simple motors and sensors, and share their work at a festival-style event.

Explore typically meets once per week across a 10–16 week season.
